President’s Address- Miss Rebecca Claire Hardacre, our esteemed President addressed the AGM. Firstly she thanked everyone for turning up. She gave a review of the year, talking about the Fresher’s trip- the weather and the bus issues. She went on to discuss the Winter Trip to the Alps and the hope it would be run next year. Finally she congratulated the team on placing 5th currently in BUBC- British Universities Bouldering Competition, thanking the work of our excellent Competitions Officer Miss Jen Chantal Oliver. Next she dwelled on the future. Firstly she reported on the Mallorca trip in Easter, which is now full. Finally she mentioned the Alps which is again fully booked. She summarised by discussing why this year has been a success, thanking Jen and Martin for their excellent efforts in the competitions. She thanked Mr Edward James Joseph Lemon for his efforts as VP and Miss Anna Maarova for her superb work as Treasurer. In an emotional speech our President said how much the club has meant to her these past four years. Finally she thanked all the committee which was greeted with rapturous applause.

News- Edward Lemon mentioned two pieces of news. Firstly, the need for a route judge in this weekends BUCS completion in Sheffield. (This has now been filled).
Secondly, that the club has booked another ice wall session next Wednesday in Covent Garden. (This has now been filled).

Points from the Floor- Mr Andrew Feneley showed us the club tie he had ordered as modelled by Peter Bryden. This met with a positive response.

Voting in the New Committee- Candidates made speeches and then voting proceeded.

Next Years Committee:

The voting process was followed by mandatory drinking rewards with Suze, Gin and Rum applied vigorously. Dress code infringements were punished by the Horn of Plenty.
